What is Reiki?
In my daily life, I find myself reaching out to those I encounter who I believe would benefit from the healing power of Reiki.
I ask them, "Have you heard of Reiki?" Many have heard and experienced this Energy healing modality and some have not.
Those who have not are curious, as our part of the world is slowly opening up its consciousness to tried and true ancient healing practices.These practices treat the mind, body and Spirit as one entity. Healing one without the other leaves a gap where subtle energies are trapped causing illness. In my effort to educate as well as bring Reiki to Outer & Inner Beauty, I have composed a list of what Reiki is.

Having surgery, a dental procedure or planning for an upcoming birth?
Be sure to get a Reiki treatment before your procedure to reduce anxiety and surround you with positive healing Energy.
Ask about special rates for me to accompany you to the hospital. A Reiki session in the pre-op and recovery room phase of your procedure will aid in a peaceful entry and exit from anesthesia and will assist with healing, pain reduction and a quick recovery. Reiki has been shown to reduce post operative bleeding leading to a higher comfort level and the need for stronger pain medication.

Reiki Is
Reiki is not something you Do,
or something you Give or something you Share.
Reiki truly is Universal Life Energy.
It is the Energy found in the spiraling of the galaxies,
the roaring of the winds, the changing of the tides,
and the silence of the eagle in flight.
Reiki is boundless creativity manifested
in the beauty and the wonders of creation,
and found in each cell of our bodies.
It is the loving, and gently powerful Energy that can flow
into the areas of our thoughts, emotions,
and physical nature to heal and renew us.
It is the Energy of unconditional love and acceptance
that has embraced each of us and can move
within us to bring balance and health.
Reiki is aspects of the loving Energy from which we come
and in which we can live, if we choose to do so.
Reiki is love and light, goodness and compassion.
